"enjoyed this book thoroughly, and took my time reading it. I could "hear" Mr. King's "voice" in my head as I read this on my iPad Kindle app. I felt like I was reading something from a friend---as if he had written a personal letter to me--- to give me an understanding of what he went through to become the person he is today."

      A Room of One's Own
In A Room of One's Own, Virginia Woolf imagines that Shakespeare had a sister—equal in talent, and genius, but her legacy is radically different. She never writes a word and dies by her own hand. In this classic essay her message is simple: women must have an income and a room of their own in order to have the freedom to create.

My only critique might be that it is about writing but it is also a bit specialized in that it is about screenplay writing. I think that's a very minor thing though and I would expect to be able to learn more about writing even if screenplays did not interest me at all."
